RAR and unRAR notice
Arkelo uses a WebAssembly build of 7-Zip (7z-wasm). 7-Zip is software by Igor Pavlov under the GNU LGPL; the RAR decoding code is derived from the unRAR source code by Alexander Roshal.
Under the unRAR licence, this code may not be used to re-create the RAR compression algorithm or to develop a RAR (WinRAR) compatible archiver. For this reason, Arkelo only opens RAR files and does not create them.
WebAssembly libraries
Pictava uses LibRaw (libraw-wasm) for RAW files, libheif (within heic2any) for HEIC, and libavif/libaom (@jsquash/avif) for saving AVIF. LibRaw is licensed under LGPL-2.1 / CDDL-1.0, libheif under LGPL-3.0, and libavif and libaom under BSD-2.
Paginel uses Tesseract (tesseract.js, Apache-2.0) for text recognition and qpdf (Apache-2.0) for password protection.
Typefaces
Document typefaces (e.g. Arimo, Tinos, Caladea and Cousine in Paginel; Archivo, Playfair Display, Space Grotesk and Caveat in Vistelo) originate from the Google Fonts catalogue and are licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or Apache 2.0.
