Installation as an application
- In Chrome or Edge, the application is installed via the "Install" icon in the address bar or "Install app" in the browser menu.
- In Safari 17 or later (macOS Sonoma): File › Add to Dock.
- The installed application opens in its own window, functions offline and, in Chrome and Edge, is offered under "Open with" in the context menu of a file.
Installation notes
macOS
The application is installed by moving it to the Applications folder. Requires a Mac with Apple Silicon and macOS 13 Ventura or later. Finder Quick Actions (Arkelo and Paginel) are added at first launch.
Windows
The installer contains x64 and ARM64 in a single file, requires no administrator rights and installs for the current user only. Uninstalling also removes the context menu commands.
Linux
The AppImage runs without installation and offers optional desktop integration at first launch. A .deb package is provided for Debian and Ubuntu.
iPhone, iPad and Android
Store versions are in preparation. In the meantime, the applications can be opened in the mobile browser and added to the home screen.
