About FigBell
FigBell makes apps for everyday work with files: editing PDFs, preparing presentations, taking notes, opening archives. Every app runs on your computer, is bought once and is yours to keep. There is no subscription, no mandatory account and no cloud.
Six principles
Every product is built on these principles.
Simple
Each app focuses on one job. The interface is kept clean: open the app, do the work, save the file. No manual is needed to get started.
Gets the job done
What counts is the result, not the number of features. A merged PDF, a finished presentation, an extracted archive: each tool carries the work through to the end, without requiring an account and without stopping halfway.
Runs on your computer
Files are never sent to a server; processing happens in the browser or in the desktop app, on this device. Everything works without an internet connection; there are no accounts, ads or tracking.
Bought, not rented
There is no subscription. An app is bought once and is yours to keep; access to your files and features does not end because a payment stops.
Fairly priced
Every app represents a great deal of work, and that work has a cost. Even so, prices are set so that an everyday tool stays within everyone's reach.
Files in common formats
Files open and save in common formats such as PDF, PowerPoint, Photoshop and SVG. Leaving FigBell never means leaving your files behind.
Buying instead of renting
A simple task should not require starting a subscription, uploading the file to a server and staying online.

I have been developing software for twenty years.
FigBell grew out of my own needs. A simple task such as merging a PDF or opening an archive often means signing up for a subscription somewhere; then I forget about it and the payments keep going. I did not want that.
When I open a tool, I simply want it to do the job. That is what you can expect from FigBell: applications that are bought once, need no account, keep files on your device and do their job well.
