Frequently asked questions, known limitations and system requirements for Levaino.
Frequently asked questions
I want pizza on the table at 8 pm; when should I start?
Choose the serving day and time in "New dough" or "Amount and time"; Levaino plans the steps backwards and adjusts the times for the kitchen temperature. The start time is shown above the plan; if an earliest start is also given, a yeast amount that fits the plan is suggested.
Are the flour and water in the sourdough taken into account?
Yes. The sourdough's percentage and hydration are entered; the flour and water it contains are deducted from the main dough, so the total hydration stays correct.
Do reminders arrive while the application is closed?
No. Reminders arrive while the application is open. To be reminded while it is closed, add the plan to your calendar with "Add to calendar".
How do I move recipes to another device?
Save one recipe or all recipes as a .levaino file and open it on the other device. "Back up…" moves all recipes and settings in a single file.

Known limitations
Functions not supported in the current version.
- No notifications are sent while the application is closed; for long plans the calendar file (.ics) is recommended.
- Fermentation times are estimated with a simple model (twice as fast for every 8 °C); the flour, the strength of the yeast and the dough itself change the result.
- There is no nutrition or calorie calculation.
