Features
SQLite files open everywhere; MySQL and PostgreSQL servers are reached from the desktop application. Write SQL, design the data model in a diagram, and see and sync the differences between model and database.
Key features
- SQL editor
- Syntax highlighting, autocompletion and tabs. The statement at the cursor runs with Ctrl/⌘ Enter and the whole script with Ctrl/⌘ ⇧ Enter; results appear in a grid that scrolls smoothly even with large tables and can be exported as CSV or JSON.
- EER data model
- Tables are drawn in a diagram; 1:1, 1:n and n:m relationships (with a junction table) are created from the toolbar. Column types, primary and foreign keys, indexes and default values are edited in the side panel; ready-made table templates are included.
- Compare and sync
- Differences between the model and a database (or two databases) are shown side by side. Renamed columns and tables are tracked, steps that risk data loss are flagged, and the script to be applied is shown first.
- Reverse and forward engineering
- The schema of a connected database is brought into the model; the model is turned into a CREATE script for MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQLite.
- Users and privileges
- MySQL accounts and PostgreSQL roles are listed; schema and table privileges, passwords and locks are edited. The GRANT / REVOKE statements to be applied are shown first.
- SQLite everywhere
- SQLite databases are opened, edited and saved in place in the browser, on phones and on the desktop (downloaded in browsers that do not support this); new empty databases can be created.
- Secure connections
- On the desktop, connect to MySQL / MariaDB and PostgreSQL / Amazon Redshift directly, over SSL or through an SSH tunnel. Passwords are stored with the operating system's encryption.
- Production protection
- A connection can be marked read-only or production; confirmation is requested before statements that change data.
- Schema tree
- Schemas, tables, columns and keys are browsed and filtered in the sidebar.
Devices and browsers
- MySQL and PostgreSQL connections are in the desktop application; in the browser and on phones, SQLite and the data model are used.
- On phones, query, model and users open on separate screens with bottom navigation; the diagram is scrolled and zoomed with a finger.

Keyboard shortcuts
⌘ and ⌥ are used on macOS; Ctrl and Alt on Windows and Linux.

| Ctrl/⌘ ⇧ Enter | Run the whole script |
| Ctrl/⌘ T | New query tab |
| Ctrl/⌘ S | Save |
| Ctrl/⌘ R | Import model from database (reverse engineering) |
| Ctrl/⌘ G | Generate SQL from model |
| Ctrl/⌘ ⇧ Y | Sync |
