Features
Servers are grouped and tagged, and connected with a single click. The terminal, SFTP file browser and port forwarding are in one place; keys and passwords are stored on this device with the operating system's encryption.
Key features
- Server library
- Servers are grouped, tagged and searched; when importing ~/.ssh/config, IdentityFile keys can be brought in too. Quick connect (Ctrl/⌘ K) connects by name or by user@host.
- Terminal
- Tabbed sessions, 256 colours and clickable links. A dropped connection is re-established automatically; on servers with a tmux session name, you return to the same session.
- SFTP file browser
- Browse folders on the server; files are downloaded, shared, uploaded by dragging, renamed and deleted. Text and log files are viewed and refreshed inside the app.
- Port forwarding
- Local, remote and SOCKS5 tunnels are saved by name and opened or closed with a single tap; if no session is open to the server, it connects in the background.
- Fingerprint verification
- On the first connection the server's fingerprint is shown for confirmation; if it later changes, the connection is stopped and a warning is shown.
- Keys
- ED25519 keys are generated in the app, or keys in OpenSSH, PEM and PuTTY format are imported; the public key and the command to add it to a server are copied with a single click.
- Jump host (bastion)
- Connect to a server through another server; multiple hops are supported.
- Typing to multiple servers
- The same command goes to all selected sessions at once. Servers marked as production ask for confirmation first.
- Saved commands
- Frequently used commands sit as buttons below the terminal; fields such as {{service}} are asked for before running.
- Phone-friendly keys
- On touch screens the esc, ctrl, alt, tab, arrow keys and ^C, ^D, ^R, ^Z are shown above the keyboard.
- Notify when done
- While the window is in the background, a notification is shown when a long-running command finishes or the terminal rings the bell.
Devices and browsers
- Connecting to servers happens in the desktop application; a browser cannot make SSH connections. In the browser the library, saved commands and forwards can be prepared and exported.
- The phone and tablet app is in preparation.
