Frequently asked questions
Should I use just or equal temperament?
For strings, winds and singing, just intonation makes it easier to hear intervals settle into place; use equal temperament when preparing to play with piano or fretted instruments.
Can it be used for makam music?
A steady tonic can be played with a root and custom intervals; a ney timbre and a rast example are included. Comma intervals are not defined separately.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Sounds are generated on the device; once installed, no internet connection is needed.

Known limitations
Functions not supported in the current version.
- Your own samples cannot be loaded; timbres are synthesised on the device.
- The microphone is not used, so your pitch is not measured (Sintona does that).
