This notice is prepared under Article 10 of Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. This is an English translation; the Turkish text prevails.
The FigBell applications process files exclusively on the user's device; FigBell does not process the files or their content. The sections below concern the limited cases in which the data controller is contacted directly.
1. Data controller

2. Personal data processed
- Identity and contact: name and email address, when the data controller is contacted.
- Customer transaction: the content of the email and correspondence relating to the request.
- Transaction security: technical access logs of the website, web applications and download server (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser details).
- Online usage: only if cookie consent is given on the website, visit statistics collected with Google Analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, online identifier).
Files opened in the applications, as well as preferences, the list of recent files and library data stored on the device (including notes, boards, books, reference records, captures and photo information), are never received by the data controller and are therefore not processed.
3. Purposes of processing
- Responding to support, privacy and other requests,
- Conducting information security processes, preventing misuse and correcting errors,
- Fulfilling legal obligations and responding to requests from authorities.
- Measuring and improving the use of the website (only if cookie consent is given).
4. Method of collection and legal grounds
Personal data is collected electronically through emails sent to the data controller and logs recorded automatically by servers. Legal grounds: KVKK Art. 5/2 (c) necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract, (ç) compliance with a legal obligation, and (f) the legitimate interest of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
For analytics cookies on the website and the related transfer abroad to Google, the legal ground is explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5(1) and Art. 9). Consent can be withdrawn at any time with the Cookie preferences link on the site.
5. Transfers
Personal data may be transferred, solely for the purposes above, to the hosting and email suppliers of the data controller (Hosting Dünyam Bilişim Teknolojileri Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye), Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC)) and, upon request, to authorised public bodies. The hosting provider's servers are located in Türkiye. The email provider's servers may be located abroad; such transfers are carried out under the conditions of KVKK Art. 9 (e.g. standard contracts).
When Google Fonts is used in Pictava or Typelo, Typelo loads typefaces from Bunny Fonts, Fontshare or jsDelivr (Fontsource), a stream added by the user is started in Melvona, an external link such as the map link in Albivo is opened, or Cirrela retrieves weather data from Open-Meteo (city name, coordinates of the added cities), the IP address and the information contained in the request are transmitted directly from the user's browser to the service concerned; these transfers are not carried out by the data controller (see Privacy policy, 5. External connections of the applications).
If cookie consent is given, visit statistics are transferred to Google (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC) and may be processed on servers in the United States.
6. Retention
Correspondence is retained for 2 years after the request has been resolved, and technical access logs for 2 years; thereafter they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
7. Rights under KVKK Art. 11
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
- Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
- Request rectification if it is incomplete or inaccurate,
- Request erasure or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Art. 7,
- Request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to the third parties to whom it was transferred,
- Object to a result to your detriment arising exclusively from automated analysis,
- Claim compensation for damage resulting from unlawful processing.
8. Application procedure
Under the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, requests may be submitted in writing to Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Mah., Ahmet Haşim Cad. No: 61 D: 22, Çankaya / Ankara, Türkiye or to kvkk@figbell.com from an email address previously registered with the data controller. The request should state the applicant's name, surname, signature (for written requests), Turkish ID number (for foreign nationals, nationality and passport number), postal address, email address if any, and the subject of the request.
Requests are resolved free of charge within 30 days at the latest; where the action entails an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
