These terms govern the use of the www.figbell.com website and the FigBell applications (web, installable, desktop and store versions; together the "Apps") and constitute an end user licence agreement (EULA). Use of the Apps constitutes acceptance of these terms.
The Apps are provided by Ahmet Samet Yüzlü, Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Mah., Ahmet Haşim Cad. No: 61 D: 22, Çankaya / Ankara, Türkiye.
1. Licence
FigBell grants anyone who purchases an App a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Apps for personal or professional purposes. For store versions, the licence is additionally subject to the terms of the respective store.
The Apps are offered for a one-time purchase, not by subscription; no FigBell account is required to use them.
A purchase covers the purchased major version of the App (the first digit of the version number, e.g. 1.x). Bug fixes and minor releases of that major version (e.g. 1.1, 1.2) are provided at no additional charge. A new major version (e.g. 2.0) may be sold as a separate product; in that case the licence for the previous major version remains valid and you are not required to upgrade.
You may not decompile the Apps, redistribute modified versions under your own name, or rent or sell them; the licences of open-source components take precedence over these restrictions.
2. Web trial version
The web version available at app.figbell.com, including the app installed through the browser, is provided so that the Apps can be explored and tried out; it does not grant a licence for use. The trial is not limited in time or features and relies on the user's good faith. Continued use of an App requires purchasing its store version.
FigBell may change, restrict or withdraw the web version at any time without prior notice. Files processed in the web version are not affected; they always remain on the user's device.
3. Ownership of user files
FigBell claims no rights in the files opened or created with the Apps. Files are processed on the user's device; FigBell does not view, store or back them up. Responsibility for maintaining backups of files rests with the user. Some Apps (e.g. Jotella, Tafela, Librelo, Ibidex and Snapiko) keep content in the storage of the browser or the application on the device; this content may be deleted when the browser's site data is cleared or the App is uninstalled.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Apps lawfully. In particular, the Apps may not be used to circumvent protection on documents to which you hold no rights, to produce content that infringes the rights of others, or to harm the infrastructure of the Apps.
Functions such as password protection, redaction and metadata removal are provided on a best-effort basis; for sensitive documents, the result should be verified by the user.
5. Open-source and third-party components
The Apps include open-source software subject to its own licences (see Open-source licences). Pictava and Typelo optionally download typefaces from the Google Fonts service, which is subject to the terms of Google; Typelo also from Bunny Fonts, Fontshare and jsDelivr (Fontsource), which are subject to their own terms. The typefaces are subject to their own licences (e.g. SIL Open Font License, ITF Free Font License). The websites of the radio stations listed in Melvona and the websites opened through other external links in the Apps (e.g. the OpenStreetMap link in Albivo) belong to third parties and are subject to their own terms. A user who adds a stream address to Melvona is responsible for holding the right to listen to that stream. Weather data in Cirrela is obtained from Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0) and is subject to the terms of that service. Servers connected to with Keyvera, Tabliva and Konsela, and services that requests are sent to with Endvia, belong to the user or to third parties; the user is responsible for holding authorisation to access them.
6. Store versions
For versions obtained from the Mac App Store, the standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement of Apple also applies; for the Microsoft Store, the store terms of Microsoft apply. Purchases, payments and refunds are handled by the respective store; details are given in the Refund policy. Apple and Microsoft are not parties to these terms and have no support obligations in respect of the Apps.
7. Disclaimer of warranty
The Apps are provided "as is". FigBell does not warrant that the Apps will operate without interruption or error, that they will open and save every file format completely, or that they are fit for a particular purpose. Known limitations are disclosed on the product pages.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FigBell is not liable for damages arising from the use of the Apps, including loss of data, loss of business or indirect damages. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, nor to statutory consumer rights that cannot be waived.
9. Changes and termination
FigBell may modify the Apps and these terms; the current version is published on this page. The licence terminates automatically if the Apps are used in breach of these terms. Use of the Apps may be discontinued at any time by deleting them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. İstanbul Mahkemeleri ve İcra Daireleri have jurisdiction over disputes; consumers retain the right to apply to Consumer Arbitration Committees and Consumer Courts.
