This policy describes how personal data is processed in connection with the use of the www.figbell.com website and the FigBell applications (Paginel, Prosela, Kolumo, Vistelo, Jotella, Tafela, Ibidex, Librelo, Pictava, Albivo, Snapiko, Filmeva, Melvona, Arkelo, Numixa, Nomaro, Dateva, Cirrela, Keyvera, Konsela, Endvia, Nodivo, Bezira, Tikkora, Sintona, Takiti, Cuevio, Bordona, Gambira, Rondivo, Typelo, Campela, Turnira, Telegro, Tannera, Kerfio, Extrudo, Levaino, Crocella, Perlino and Dockela; web, installable, desktop and store versions; Dockela is an Android home screen app offered only on Google Play and is available only as an Android store version).
1. Data controller
The data controller is Ahmet Samet Yüzlü ("FigBell", "we"). Address: Sokullu Mehmet Paşa Mah., Ahmet Haşim Cad. No: 61 D: 22, Çankaya / Ankara, Türkiye.
Privacy questions and requests may be addressed to kvkk@figbell.com.
2. User files
Files opened, edited and saved in the applications (PDF files, documents, spreadsheets, presentations, notes, whiteboards, bibliographies, e-books, images and photos, screenshots and screen recordings, audio and video files, archives, calendar files, SQLite databases) are processed exclusively on the user's device, within the browser or the desktop application. No file, file content or file name is transmitted to FigBell or to any other server.
Text recognition (OCR), compression, encryption, format conversion, screen recording and batch renaming are likewise performed by code running on the user's device; the language data required for text recognition is supplied with the application.
FigBell has no AI features; files are never transmitted to any AI model.
Microphone and location: Sintona and Hertzio listen to the microphone only when the user turns it on, and turn it off when the app goes to the background; sound is analysed in real time in memory on the device and is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere. Stellavo and Rayora read the device's location once, only when the user asks for it ("Use my location", "I'm here"); the location is used only on the device, to calculate the sky and light times, and is never sent anywhere.
Permissions (Dockela): Dockela does not have the internet permission (INTERNET); Android therefore does not allow the app to connect to any network, and Dockela never sends any data anywhere. To display icons, the list of installed apps that can be launched is read only on the device. The following permissions are optional, and each is requested only when the user turns on the related feature: calendar (read on the device to show upcoming events); notification access (only the number of notifications per app is used, for the dots on icons; notification contents are not read or stored); device administrator (used only to lock the screen with a double tap); usage access (Android's usage statistics are read on the device to show today's screen time, the number of unlocks and the most used apps on the optional Screen time card; they are not stored or sent).
3. Data stored on the device
For their operation, the applications store certain information exclusively on the user's device, in the browser's local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB, cache). This information is never transmitted to FigBell:
- Preferences: language (figbell.locale) and theme (figbell.theme), as well as the view and working settings of each application (e.g. whether the Google Fonts connection is on or off in Pictava).
- Recently opened files and folders connected by the user: access handles provided by the browser (not the files themselves).
- Signatures saved by the user in Paginel (up to six) and recently used typefaces in Pictava.
- Notes that the user chooses to keep in the browser in Jotella, and boards in Tafela.
- Copies of books added to Librelo, together with reading position, bookmarks and notes; reference records, notes and copies of files attached to records in Ibidex; screenshots, screen recordings and annotations taken in Snapiko.
- In Albivo, information on the photos in the added folders (file path, date and EXIF data, including location where the photo contains it), thumbnails, favourites and albums. The photos themselves are not copied.
- In Melvona, the song tags read, album covers, likes and stream addresses added by the user; in Filmeva, the playback position together with the file's name, size and modification date, so that playback can resume where it stopped.
- In Numixa, the calculation history, memory and calculation sheets; in Nomaro, renaming rules and saved presets.
- In Dateva, calendars and events; in Cirrela, the added cities (name and coordinates), the most recently retrieved weather data and unit settings.
- In Typelo, opened font files, collections and the cached scan of the fonts installed on the computer; in Gambira and Rondivo, time controls and programs; in Campela, Turnira, Telegro, Tannera, Kerfio, Extrudo, Levaino, Crocella and Perlino, the drills, tournaments, patterns, projects, recipes and designs created by the user (including the source image of patterns created from an image) and the application's progress records.
- In Keyvera and Tabliva, saved connection settings (server address, port, user name, database name; in Keyvera, SSH tunnel settings), and in Konsela, the server library (name, address, port, user name, groups, tags), saved commands and port forwarding settings; in Endvia, collections, request history (the last 300 requests), environment variables and cookies stored from responses. Passwords and environment values marked as secret are not included in these records.
- In the desktop application, passwords that the user chooses to store in Keyvera, Tabliva and Konsela, as well as private keys and key passphrases added to Konsela, are encrypted with the operating system's encryption service (macOS Keychain, Windows DPAPI, Linux libsecret) and stored only on this device; the fingerprints of servers verified in Konsela are also kept on the device. In Endvia, environment values marked as secret are stored in the same way on desktop; in the browser version they remain in the browser's local storage and are not written to exported files.
- In Dockela, the home screen layout, settings, hidden apps, the app open counts used for "Frequently used" and suggestions, the text of the note card and the search history (last 8 searches; can be turned off, and turning it off deletes it). Backups are written only to a file the user chooses.
- Application files required for offline operation (service worker cache). User files are not placed in this cache.
This information can be deleted at any time by clearing the site data in the browser or by uninstalling the application. Notes, boards, books, reference records and captures stored in the browser are then deleted as well; important content should also be saved as files.
4. Accounts, analytics and advertising
No FigBell account is required to use the FigBell applications; there is no registration or sign-in. The applications are offered for a one-time purchase, not by subscription (see the Terms of use). The FigBell applications use no analytics, tracking, advertising or social media tools and collect no usage statistics.
This website uses no advertising or social media tools. For visit statistics, Google Analytics runs only if the visitor consents in the cookie notice (see 6. This website).
5. External connections of the applications
Apart from loading their own application files, the FigBell applications do not connect to any external service on their own during operation; the only exceptions are the Cirrela update and the font previews in Typelo described below. In the cases below, a connection is made only through an action of the user or through a setting the user leaves on (the update setting of Cirrela for the cities added by the user, the Google Fonts, Fontshare and Fontsource settings of Typelo for its font list), and the request goes directly from the user's device to the service concerned; FigBell has no access to these requests or their content:
- Pictava, Google Fonts: Opening the font picker loads previews of the Google Fonts catalogue from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com); selecting a Google Fonts family, or opening a document that uses one, downloads that family. These requests disclose to Google the IP address, browser details and the name of the requested typeface; no image or file is transmitted. The connection can be turned off in the settings of Pictava; in that case only the typefaces bundled with the application and those installed on the device are used, and no request is sent to Google.
- Typelo, Google Fonts, Bunny Fonts, Fontshare, Fontsource: The font catalogues are bundled with the application; no request is made for the list. Each source has its own setting (on by default). While a setting is on, only the rows visible on screen are downloaded for previews and the whole family when a family is opened or pinned: Google Fonts families from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com; for previews only the letters of the sample text) or, if the user chooses, from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net); Fontshare families from Fontshare (api.fontshare.com, cdn.fontshare.com); Fontsource families from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). These requests are sent without cookies and disclose to the service concerned the IP address, browser details and the name of the requested typeface; the user's font files and collections are not transmitted. If a setting is turned off, no request is sent to that service and its rows are hidden. The code offered for web pages and projects is only copied text; Typelo does not send it anywhere. Permission to list the fonts installed on the computer is requested only when the user asks for it; these fonts and opened files are read on the device and are not sent anywhere.
- Melvona, radio: FigBell provides no radio stream addresses. The stations listed in the application are links to the stations' official websites; clicking a link opens the website in a new tab, and listening takes place on that website. A stream address added by the user is stored only in that browser, and the stream is connected only when the user starts playback; the stream server then receives the IP address and browser details.
- Albivo, map: Clicking the map link of a photo that contains location data opens OpenStreetMap (openstreetmap.org) in a new tab and passes the photo's coordinates to that address. Unless the link is clicked, the location is not sent anywhere.
- Cirrela, Open-Meteo: The name typed in a city search is sent to Open-Meteo's search service (geocoding-api.open-meteo.com), and the latitude and longitude of the added cities to its forecast service (api.open-meteo.com); these requests also disclose the IP address and browser details to Open-Meteo. The device's location is neither requested nor sent; no cookies and no referrer are sent with the requests. With the "Update automatically" setting on (the default), the request is made without any further action when the application opens and when the data is older than 30 minutes; if the setting is turned off, the request is sent only with the Update button. Weather data is obtained from Open-Meteo under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
- Keyvera, Tabliva and Konsela, the user's servers: These applications connect only to the database and SSH servers whose address the user has entered, and only when the user starts the connection. The connection is made directly from the desktop application; queries, commands, files and results do not pass through FigBell. The owner or operator of these servers is responsible for the processing on them and of the data they contain.
- Endvia, addresses requests are sent to: The application sends requests only to the address the user enters, and only when the user sends the request (or checks an OpenAPI source the user has linked). On desktop, requests go directly from this device; in the browser, they go from the browser itself; they do not pass through FigBell. The operator of the service a request is sent to is responsible for how that service processes data.
- Other links: DOI (doi.org) and web address links in Ibidex, and links added by the user to documents and notes, open in the browser only when clicked.
These services and websites are independent of FigBell and process data under their own privacy policies (e.g. Google: policies.google.com/privacy; OpenStreetMap Foundation: osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy; Open-Meteo: open-meteo.com).

As with any server, the infrastructure hosting the website and the web applications (app.figbell.com) may retain technical access logs (IP address, date and time, requested address, browser details) for security and troubleshooting purposes. These logs are retained by Hosting Dünyam Bilişim Teknolojileri Tic. Ltd. Şti. (Türkiye) for 2 years and are used for no other purpose.
When an installer is downloaded, the download server may retain technical logs of the same kind.
7. Desktop and store versions
The desktop applications process files exclusively on the user's computer and transmit no usage data to FigBell.
For versions obtained from the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store, purchases, payments, refunds and updates are handled by Apple or Microsoft under their own terms and privacy policies. Payment details are never received by FigBell; the stores provide only aggregated sales and download reports that do not identify individual users.
8. Correspondence
When an email is sent to FigBell, the sender's email address, name (if provided) and the content of the message are processed solely in order to respond to the request, and are retained for no longer than 2 years after the request has been resolved. Email is received through Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Google LLC).
Files and personal data beyond what is necessary should not be included in correspondence.
9. Sharing and transfers
Personal data is neither sold nor shared with any party for marketing purposes. Access is limited to the service providers mentioned above (hosting, email) and to authorities with legal powers. Hosting is provided in Türkiye; the email provider's servers may be located abroad, and such transfers are carried out in accordance with Article 9 of Turkish Law No. 6698.
10. Children
FigBell requires no account and collects no personal data from any person; accordingly, no data is knowingly collected from children. Where it is believed that a child has submitted personal data to FigBell, notification may be sent to kvkk@figbell.com, and the data will be deleted.
11. Rights of the data subject
Under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, and to object. Details and the application procedure are set out in the KVKK notice. Requests may be sent to kvkk@figbell.com.
Where the GDPR applies, personal data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR in order to respond to a request, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in order to comply with legal obligations, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the legitimate interest in ensuring information security. In that case, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version is always available on this page, and the date above is amended accordingly. Significant changes will additionally be announced on the website.
