Features
Clicks are scheduled ahead on the device's audio clock, so the tempo holds even when the screen stutters. Time signatures, accents, subdivisions and a tempo trainer are on one screen; there are no accounts or ads and no internet connection is needed.
Key features
- Tempo
- 20–300 BPM; set by dragging, typing or with the ±1 and ±5 buttons. The tempo can also be tapped; the tempo marking (Adagio, Allegro, Presto…) is shown on screen.
- Time signatures and accents
- Common time signatures and custom ones with 1–16 beats. Every beat can be accented, normal or silent.
- Subdivisions
- Quarter notes, eighths, triplets and sixteenths.
- Tempo trainer
- The tempo moves from a start value to a target every few bars.
- Muted bars
- Some bars go silent while you keep time yourself; any drift is heard when the metronome comes back in.
- Presets
- Frequently used settings are saved and recalled with one tap. The list is exported as a file and brought to another device.
- Count-in and time limit
- One bar is counted in before starting; the metronome stops when the time limit is reached.
- Sounds
- Classic click, wood, bell and electronic, with a separate volume control. The screen flashes on the beat and stays on while playing.
Devices and browsers
- On phones the tempo and beats fill the screen; settings open in a bottom panel.
- On tablets and desktops the settings are beside the stage.
- In the iPhone app the clicks are heard even when the silent switch is on.
