Features
Organise ideas with sticky notes, shapes, arrows, text and freehand drawing. Arrows follow the shapes they connect to; boards are stored on this device and saved as PNG, SVG or .tafela files.

- Infinite canvas
- The board extends in every direction; scroll and zoom with the wheel or two fingers. "Fit to content" brings all your work into view.
- Sticky notes
- Notes in eight colours; double-click to type, and text wraps to the note's size.
- Shapes and text
- Rectangles, ellipses, diamonds and free text; colour and order (bring to front, send to back) can be changed.
- Connected arrows
- Arrows attach to shapes and follow them when the shape is moved.
- Freehand drawing and eraser
- The pen draws smooth strokes; the eraser removes the drawings it touches.
- Images
- Images are added by dragging them onto the board or from the Insert menu.
- Editing
- Undo and redo, copy, paste, duplicate, select all; selected items are nudged with the arrow keys.
- Export
- Boards export as PNG or SVG and can be saved as a .tafela file to open on another device.
- Board list
- All boards are listed with thumbnails and can be renamed, duplicated and deleted.
Devices and browsers
- Draw with a mouse, touch or a pen; two-finger scrolling and zooming are supported.
- On phones the toolbar is simplified; every tool can also be chosen from the menu.
- In Chrome, Edge and Opera files are saved straight to the chosen location; Safari and Firefox provide them as downloads.
Keyboard shortcuts
⌘ and ⌥ are used on macOS; Ctrl and Alt on Windows and Linux.

On touch screens, one finger draws or moves and two fingers scroll and zoom. Every tool is available from the toolbar, and drag and drop has a menu equivalent.
