Frequently asked questions
Is the PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Every step, including editing, OCR, compression and password protection, takes place within the browser on the user's device.
Can existing text be modified?
Yes. The paragraph is selected and retyped. The original is covered with a white box; if the content must be removed permanently, Redact is used.
Can a scanned document be made searchable?
Yes. Text recognition adds an invisible text layer to Turkish and English pages, making them searchable and their text copyable.
Can a PDF be opened without its password?
No. An encrypted PDF cannot be opened without its password.
