Features
Add the show's sounds and line up the cues; during the show, Space or the big GO button plays the next cue and moves on. Esc fades out every sound within half a second.
Key features
- Cue list and GO
- Ordered cues, each with a "when" note (line, light, event). GO (Space) plays the next cue and moves on; ↑ ↓ change the next cue, Home goes back to the start, Alt + ↑ ↓ move a cue.
- Fades and trimming
- Per-cue volume (dB), fade in and fade out, start and end trim, loop. "Fade out previous sounds" lowers what is playing when a new sound starts; "Start the next cue when finished" chains cues.
- Fade and Stop all cues
- A "Fade" cue stops one sound or everything playing with a fade out; "Stop all" silences everything. Esc fades out every sound within half a second at any moment.
- Sound pads
- Buttons with keys (1–0, Q–P …) for sounds without a fixed place in the order: once or loop (a looping pad fades out on the second press), each with its own volume.
- Show mode
- "Start show" locks editing, enlarges the targets and keeps the screen on; sounds are decoded in advance. The playing list shows progress, time left and "Fade out".
- A sound library per show
- MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, FLAC and other formats the browser can decode; pick files or drag and drop. The original files are stored on the device; preview, rename, colour, delete.
- Shows
- New show, rename, duplicate (uses the same sound files) and delete; edits can be undone and redone.
- .foleva package
- One show or all shows are saved with their sounds in a single .foleva file (ZIP), opened again and shared with the device's own share feature; that is how a show moves to another device.
- Samples
- "Hamlet · Act 2" and "School play"; the door creak, thunder, rain, bell, footsteps, wind, applause and school bell sounds are generated on the device from code. "Add samples again" brings them back.
- Sound engine
- Web Audio: decoded sounds, smooth fades with gain ramps, starts scheduled on the audio clock. By browser rule, audio is enabled with the first tap or key press.
- Backup and offline
- "Back up…" puts all shows, sounds and settings into a single file, and "Restore from backup…" brings them back. No account is needed; it works offline.
Devices and browsers
- On a desktop, sounds are on the left, the cue list and GO in the middle and the selected cue's settings on the right. On a phone and a tablet in portrait, the bottom bar holds Show, Sounds, Cue and More.
- Whether a sound format opens depends on the browser; a warning is shown for a file that cannot be decoded.
- Keeping the screen on works where the device and browser support it.
