Frequently asked questions
Is my location used?
No. The app does not request the device's location; only the coordinates of the cities you add are sent to Open-Meteo for the forecast.
Does it work without the internet?
The most recently fetched data is shown and marked as out of date. New data and city search require a connection.
Where does the data come from?
From Open-Meteo, an open-source service that combines models from national weather services (CC BY 4.0).

- An internet connection is required to add new cities and update forecasts.
- As the device's location is not used, there is no "my location" option; cities are added by name.
